The Power and Potential of Positive Reinforcement
Positive Reinforcement can be a game changer for you and your horse. It allows you to partner with your horse, address problem behaviors, build trust and confidence, and create a more successful and enjoyable training and riding experience for both of you.
Our hands-on Foundations workshop is designed to set you up for success by teaching you the fundamentals to safely introduce Positive Reinforcement in your training or improve how you're already using it. Some of the tools you'll learn are establishing food manners, targeting, and basic shaping. We'll introduce you to Via Nova's 5 Principles of Priority to Positive® so you have a clear, practical way to help your horse understand what you want. We'll also give you resources and ideas to work on common issues.
